It is my pleasure to announce the new 2016-2017 season of Ensemble CONCEPT/21. The theme of this year is “Celebrations!” With this theme, we would like to recognize three major commemorations of this year: the Bicentennial of the State of Indiana, the Centennial of Indiana University South Bend, and the 25th Anniversary of our home, the Ernestine M. For our first concert in the season, we celebrating the great talent of American composers of Latino heritage in a concert on Sunday, November 13 at 7pm, including works by Gabriela Frank, Osvaldo Golijov, Gustavo Leone, and Roberto Sierra.
