Over 70 World Premieres at the Oregon Bach Festival!

July 16, 2016

Caleb Wenzel served as the conducting area coordinator for the 2016 Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium, where he supervised eight composer/conductors in the world-premiere performances of over twenty works.

The entire festival featured over seventy world premieres, ranging from solo works, to duos, large ensemble, and gamalan compositions.

Caleb conducted two world-premieres himself, both featuring GRAMMY-winning mezzo-soprano, Sarah Brauer. Chelsea Loew's chamber work, Alone, proved to be a satisfying challenge.
